David Walliams parted ways with publishing house.
Best-selling writer for children and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.
A spokesman for the company said: "After careful consideration, and with the guidance of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the conclusion was made after an review of reports of questionable actions directed at young women.
The firm did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, noting: "We do not comment on internal matters."
An Illustrious Literary Career
Walliams ranks among Britain's most prolific writers for young readers, with sales exceeding over six tens of millions of copies internationally in dozens of tongues.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins back in 2008.
Some of his books, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into TV movies.
His bibliography includes over four dozen titles altogether, which features a holiday title titled *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins this past October.

His initial claim to fame came on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE in 2017 honoring his contributions to the charitable sector and arts community.
The publisher's decision comes after the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive this past October.
